Hey there everybody!! This is Jack, and I’ve just finished up a full Obsidian Vault template. This means that everything
If you write a lot of material, Obsidian could be your best friend. It is 100% free, and is an absolute beast of a Personal Knowledge Management tool. Over the last 1.5 weeks, I’ve completed a full Obsidian vault template, including templates and directions on how to use literally every new concept introduced.
If you are working on a series of books, short stories, art, whatever, and they’re all related, you have a good worldbuild start!
First things first, if you haven’t completed a novel length work, don’t start with worldbuilding. Worldbuilding should be done while writing. Anytime you introduce a new character, talk about history, or literally anything else, file it in your Bible after you finish the current chunk of story.
That’s Worldbuilding. It’s only hard if you make it hard. It’s only complicated if you jump in head first, with no backing ideas. I’ll be sharing some much smaller templates in our newsletter, which you can easily download as text files, copy, then paste into a new document, making your work linked, easily sorted, searchable, and generally far easier to reference previous pieces.

All content and images are 100% original I use an AI for some grunt work(checking first drafts, helping me brainstorm names, etc. Images only receive minimum AI final effects nothing is “generated” from thin air that’s literally impossible, but people seem to think it’s a decades old secret ruling class fool to breed a dog/human hybrid
Now. Back to reality. I hate that I need to actually say that.

Sorry about the BS crazy code at the bottom. Substack apparently won’t work with the raw code for “Buy Me a Coffee”. If Substack had any preview options at all, I could fix it. Or if it had, say a 1 minute delay in which one could edit or delete the piece……
